Hollywood Independent Music Awards 2026 World Music Nomination
The official Hollywood Independent Music Awards (HIMA) 2026 nominees have been unveiled, marking another milestone for independent Indian music on the global stage. Leading India’s representation is the sacred Sanskrit Hanuman Mantra composition “Resonant Roar of Hanuman,” created by Dr. Krupesh Thacker, Vacha Thacker, Guinness World Record holder and youngest singer Parv Thacker, Parv Fusion Band, and The Krup, and widely known as The Clubfoot Anthem for the Global Clubfoot Awareness Parv (GCAP) initiative and the flagship musical theme across the Hindi, English and Gujarati film adaptations inspired by Parv’s journey, including Main Bhi Arjun: Parv, Tiny Steps Take Giant Leaps and Nanakda Pagla Bhare Haranfal.
The composition has earned an official nomination in the highly competitive World Music category, with winners to be announced on 30 July 2026 at the historic Avalon Hollywood during the Hollywood Independent Music Awards ceremony.
In addition to serving as The Clubfoot Anthem and the flagship musical theme across the Hindi, English and Gujarati film adaptations inspired by Parv’s journey, the composition is also featured on the internationally acclaimed album Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1. During the previous awards season, the composition was included in the GRAMMY® Awards For Your Consideration campaign in the Best Global Music Performance category, while the album received For Your Consideration in the Best Global Music Album, Best Album Cover and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical categories.
From Gujarat to Global
The recognition marks another milestone in Krup Music’s long-term vision of taking regional talent from Gujarat to global audiences through its philosophy of For Artists, By Artists.

In addition to receiving international recognition through “Resonant Roar of Hanuman” and Sounds of Sanatan: Vol. 1, Dr. Krupesh Thacker serves as a Recording Academy Voting Member for the GRAMMY Awards and has also been invited as a GRAMMY U Mentor, reflecting his continuing contribution to music, education and creative leadership.
With the Hollywood Independent Music Awards Ceremony and Hollywood Red Carpet scheduled for 30 July 2026, Dr. Krupesh Thacker led Parv Fusion Band will proudly be the first band to represent India at the HIMA Awards.
